This page contains the early type (zenki) Australian AE86 brochure. Within Australia the three door AE86 was sold as the Toyota Sprinter speparately from the Corolla E80 lineup. The Australian AE86 was similar in specifications to the USDM SR5, featured a 4A-C engine and the T50 gearbox. However the bodystyle was taken from the Japanese Toyota Corolla Levin and the trim level was, according to the model code, the same as the Japanese SR. It starts to get even stranger once you realize the tail lights are from the three door Sprinter Trueno.

Early Australian AE86 brochure

The early model got its own separate brochure containing 8 pages featuring various splash pages, a 4A-C cutaway drawing and all specifications on the back side of the brochure.
We found some photos of an Australian brochure on someone’s rug and made an attempt to make them look right with some skewing. It was the best we could do. 😉
