1987 JDM Levin
Hey guy's, figured I'd start a project thread. I just picked up this Levin after 7 months of searching for one. They are pretty hard to find with a quality chassis this far north in Japan. This is due to heavy snow, and they use salt here. It needs a lot of body work and could use some TLC on the engine bay and the interior. It only has 126,000 KM's on it, and already has some work (gauges, POS sparco seat, coilovers) As of right now, it will be getting stripped down, banged out and painted dark purple. This thread will be going for the next few years, but we all have to start somewhere!
Understeer is when the front end hits the wall. Oversteer is when your back end hits the wall. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you! |

I laughed at the gauges to, but you're not a real tuner unless you use zip-ties for something! lol

For now, I'm trying to get them back from the Japanese guy i bought them from. It's kinda hard to be respectful, and also tell him he can't change the wheels last minute. I'm not to concerned about it though. I live in the right country to find these rims, I've been trying to track down some gently used Gram-lights here though. I don't really like the 2 different sets of rims on front and back.

But that deep dish under the car on 1st pic look great to start. Even you can get some cash if you sell them later when you got new wheels.
