Goodmorning Dan,
yes now it is feels right,at fast speeds change, i gain some rpms up..etc if from the 1st speed fast change to 2nd speed at e.g 7200rpms and before the work it falls at 5500 ,now falls eg at 5700. Generally a better feeling at the most of rpms,seems to be work as it should work now! yes know i can say i felt a happiness! i want your opinion about the downpipe and the oil pan, to one poing is very very close to oil pan. the pipe temperature reflects to oil pan or it warms up my oil ? yesterday i did this work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m-1sbsKfSc&feature=plcp and a general photo of the downpipe position this is not mine,but is very similar thanx John 4age 16v to FR 20VT |

Back in 2003 I had an 1988 us-dm AE92 Corolla GT-S with its original AFM bigport 4AGE and my friend bought a front cut 20V silvertop from japan, I got the header and the 'Y' part also for free so I fit it on my AE92, I don't remember I had problems with the starter, but I remember I took it on a dyno before and after, and I got about 15nm torque everywhere so finally it was about 5hp stronger at the end. I have the dyno somewhere, I'll attach it if I find it..

on the dyno plot the lower is the original, the middle is with the new header and the higher is the new header with raised ignition timing.

It was 111hp counted back to flywheel with the ignition set to 17 degrees. Sorry but I don't remember if it was with or without the shortcut in the diagnostic box.. The engine had some compression miss in the last 2 cylinders, and when I bought the car it was only 104 hp, so I was happy with that 111hp number considering these facts |
