yes. there is no need to try it with these carbs. (i talked to some friends about it).

the hot japanese 4ages use these "flat gate" carbs with acceleration pump. that would be an option. these equeal pressure types are not!

Old cars use 6 V electrical instalation, but 8 V, don't know.

Look for Keihin FCR flatslide carburetors. Very nicely sized and easy to tune. A lot of the single cyl dirt bikes use them: KTM 520, yamaha YZ450F etc. Another bonus is that they are really short and easy to package.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I'm also interested in carburettors fitting on my 4age.
Probably Weber 45Dcoe , or 40DCOE , but I was wondering how I could get ignition.Some told me it was possible to keep ecu for ignition only , but don't know how . The other solution is to fit another distributor and coil , but what model car should it come from?I was told to use an old Tercel one, but pignon must be reversed , and some work on automatic advance is to be done to!
Any one experienced that mod ( I also plan to add camshafts to gain a little power)
