4A-GE Shim where to buy

i am currently in the process of re-shimming my 4AGE and its a pain to get to the Toyota dealership also they are pretty pricey does anyone know somewhere online i can get some?

You could try your local motorcycle repair shop. There are several models
that use the same 25 diameter shim.

Fortunately for us, Toyota used 25mm shims.
You can find the same shims in many many bikes
(Yamaha FJ, Vmax, Triumph, etc...)

I have wondered about running a 'shim bank' for a while now and thought it could possibly work something like this:
If you have any old shims then send them to an 'elected' (lol) person.
They could catalogue them and then send out shims of the size required.
Obviously the postage would need to be paid.

sounds like a good idea. after this i will have about 10 shims that i wont require so it seems like a waste when they can be used by someone else

some years ago I bought a set of ~200pieces from u.s ebay from a guy who raced 4age and he recently adjusted them. share what sizes you need, I might going to sell some of them. but usually the thicker sizes are needed and the thinners I have more..

thought there are also some honda's (cars) using the same diameter like the 4AGE

i should be able to get the measurements later today so I'll let you know what sizes i have and what i will require
