As I PMed you... the AZ6 is still in development, it is being done by a few different folks as low cost as possible... so for... quality is not an issue, the time span on development had to be LOOOOOOONG so that it could be done on "everyones" "free" time
As of now... the enclosure/adapter part of the box is DONE. Everything works and shifts and operates correctly. The new input shaft(1 inch longer, w 4AGE spline) is finished. The final stages are about to commence.... shortening the tailhousing/shifter assembly so it'll be as close to the OEM location as possible. Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! TRD and Albin gearsets are only drivable with 5.3 r+p´s, cause the 1st gear is really long...
Caterham 6 speed or Getrag M3 would be maybe a choice for good grading and strength. If you don´t matter about the grading, I would just take another stock T50... Greets raki http://www.sg-rallyesport.de |

but since i want to do drifting with my hatchi
isn't the T50 gonna be to weak to deal with the clutch kick? i mean it's not gonna break right away... but isn't clutch kicking like murder for tranny's? if i do it my tranny is gonna die a lot faster... if i'm correct... i just don't want to spend the money on the tranny and ending up breaking some time soon after i rebuild it... so my questions is gonna be... what choices do i have with the minimal cost of custom work and a strong tranny be??? cause i work on my own cars... but for this one i like it to much... so i take out to shops... don't want to mess it up my self... |

The gearset 33030-AE851 (with 2.630 on 1st gear) are totaly drivable wih a 4.7 Final gear http://www.trdparts.jp/english/list_race-mis_ae86.html Personally I have a gearset 33030-AE811 with a 4.3 Final gear and it's realy long for street use but not a problem for drifting (you can drift in 1st gear ) W58 is a good option too  |
