4th year Anniversary Meet, Greet & Eat 11th of October
I am a local to the area that you planned your route and for one I must admit that this is one hell of a route. I hope that you lot will have good brakes, the fluid will boil thats for sure.
Be careful when driving through the Belgium section, those roads are unforgiving and trees are always nearby. Also keep an good eye out for the police, if they know about this rally, they will be waiting for you.
Last point I will make is the speed camera (unmarked car) in the route you take near the town of Mechelen from the south. On weekends I know its there without exception, they caught me speeding several times without me ever seeing the camera-car.

Have fun Smile

Who said anything about a rally? It's just a leisurly drive trough the countryside, definately not meant to be a race. Offcourse everyone is free to drive however they like...it's a free country, but you bear the consequences yourself.
I personally dont think it's against the law to take a corner @ the speedlimit, but then again the police might slap a reckless driving charge on you if they disagree.

Exactly. Wink
Besides that: my Carina won't cope with anything above speedlimit. Tongue

Just a small reminder: the 4th anniversary is coming up next week!

The plan:
12:00 - Meet at Valkenburg (Limburg) NL at parkingplace next to Cauberg
15:00 - Drive around in the neighborhood according to the route by Djexor
18:00 - Eat at a local pizzaria restaurant

Who said something abou a speedlimit ?

Entering an off camber, 90 degree turn with a ditch (and trees) on the outside, doesn't need much speed to "enjoy" the scenery at close range.

I know that it isn't a rally, but I also know the Belgium police in that aeria. They sure as hell are not stupid when they see more than 5 cars of the same make and model come by.

Enjoy these roads (at whatever speed, it's up to you), but be aware that even the locals sometimes plough into the scenery. For one the weather prediction is on your side, lots of sunshine Cool .

Enjoy yourself in Limboland Smile

Hehe, I know, a friend of mine plowed his suzuki swift into the scenery on a little "practice-drive" for the annual hillclimb in Teuven.
