Cool movie! Thumbs up!
It must be late 80s since I also saw a glimpse of a 180sx and a FC. Smile

If you look carefully you'll notice plenty of hachi's too.. I think the video was edited by an aw11 fan. I found it while looking for nice aw11 vids since a friend of mine is aspiring to buy one and wanted to see some vids.

I saw the hachis as well, but they are not late-80s. Wink
I did see a couple of skylines (R30 I thought) as well, however they were alwasy glipses just like every other car which was not aw11. Wink

Wow, I never knew that AW11 is so "driftable". My SW20 would punish the hell out of me if I tried something like that. Confused

I think what you're seeing is a couple of very good drifters taking pretty large risks, even then only a couple of times do they manage to pull off a full corner drift. You see them snap at the drivers a couple of times too..once they go, almost nothing will stop them.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I've driven with my aw11 on circuit Zolder in Belgium.
It was soaking wet and I was driving on 215/50/17 tires at the rear with no profile. At the front I had 195/50/15 good profile tires.

damn that was fun. Cornering in, lifting off the throttle, floor it and drift it! Cool

But on dry surface it was grip all the way, no way that i could drift it like the blokes in that little movie! Sure when i had enough speed in the corner, I could lift off oversteer it, but the moment i stept on the gas, the car went in his own way of neverending grip and speed!

You just gotta love those aw11's Respect!

I would't want to dis- at the perfectly good show drifting we have nowadays, but honestly I just like this better. The less countersteer there is, the harder it looks, imho. Plus, gotta love the fact those people do this on non-drift-spec settings...
