Oh and another thing, is there a way to check the duration of the camshaft without taking the cam covers of? I think there are different cams in there as the idle is a bit of. The timing i run now is off the scale, and when i try to get between 10 and 20 it idles better, but when i push the gas it sounds like it gonna stall.
My rolla is actually suprisingly fast, I stood at the red lights next to my dad in the mr2 turbo and i was faster then him and he was pushing hard. The mr has 240bhp and standard values from 0-100kmh are 6.5 so either the rolla is really fast or there is something really wrong with my dads car I was hoping for the first option of course No Smorking AE86 |

save up for trd bushings if you need to keep the original look. They are made of harder rubber, and probably better than polyurethane ones anyway.

It's all possible by hand..with the help of a benchscrew (vice grip or whatever it's called). Getting the old ones out is usually harder.

Today was fun, too bad i had to stop halfway , the clutch didn't wanna play anymore, it's not completely gone, but i definately need a new one.
Gonna check monday what a standard replacement would cost me at toyota, and any idea on aftermarket parts would be handy aswell. i checked fensport and a sportier clutch kits comes to 450€ which seems a little high to me, probably i'll a standard toyota one and i'll be back on 8dec in zolder to try again, it was actually going pretty good. Not had a lot of time to take pictures tho. No Smorking AE86 |

I had to change mine when I bought the car.
I got a Sachs oem replacement clutch. Cost me 150euro (with 20%discount) for the whole set. (cover/clutch/bearing)!! Sachs can handle a bit more power. Mine is still fine after one driftday and the occasional sunday clutch-kicks. I'll post the part-numbers tomorrow. |

If you dont want to keep changing clutches after every one or two drift days, get in touch with max misawa (http://www.illegalgarage.com) and buy one of his clutches. They're very popular in the us because they can handle a lot of drifting, and are still very streetable.

tnx for the tips guys
went to toyota and a standard replacement one would cost me 325€ including work. I can't do it myself right now as my arm is in a cast, but they told me i could buy a diiferent clutch myself and they would place it for me No Smorking AE86 |
