The new calipers are on, and changed the brake fluid to dot5.1 at the same time. The brakes work even better now and the handbrake now locks up great. Hurray!

The car is now ready for the next comp Smile

We quickly made a new exhaust for the corolla, my old one didn't make enough noise Evil and since knowing about ae86's i always wanted this style of exhaust.

Only 1 muffler in the middle, but the sound is still very reasonable, quiet and normal driving, nice roar on power.
Completely homemade from stainless steel starting after the manifold.

To be heard next sunday in zolder Tongue

looks really, i saw an ae86 with a dart izumi exhaust once and i just loved the look of it. And because my father can pretty much weld anything i want it was a quick decision. This exhaust from the manifold back cost me 50€ Huh Even a japstyle rear muffler cost more then my whole exhaust Tongue

d-day tomorrow. they are expecting over 25000 people there, and i'm up against more pro's than amateurs. It will be great to see what i can do against skylines and m3's and even an e30 with a m5 v8 engine. Just going to have fun and get as much experience as possible. I'll do my best to get in the finals, but seeing how much more experienced the other drivers are, it's going to be very hard.

I'll try to get some pics and even some vids tomorrow. I hope the car doesn't break and i can test out some new tires sizes for the rear. I got 4 new, but old (they were never on a car, but been in the shop for 10 years Tongue ) firestone 175/65-13's for the rear, i know they are a bit smaller then normal, but maybe this way i can keep the drift going even if it gets dryer.
