86 Battery Problem?
Do you leave the car sitting around for days between usage ?
Have you checked things like interior lamps staying on, especially in the boot / tailgate ? It is worth investing in a battery charger that you can leave connected if the car is not being used for a time. It could also be your starter motor. Can you give some more info ? 86 Battery Problem?
You should find the reason for your battery going flat.
Can you hear the clic- noise fron the starter solenoid? Or is it completly dead, like no lights and stuff? Could be alternator, I had it once on my AE86, regulator was fu****, car was driving fine once its running, but you stop it and it won´t turn over again. Can you tow start the car? Time to hook up an ampere meter to the car. Measure if you have any loading current while driving the car. If so..turn of the ignition and start pulling fuses until the current drops to zero.

I've left my car 4 weeks without driving and it started (Just). So i'd check the alternator like the others have said.

You didn´t check anything of the things we told you?
Do something and come back with results. With the little information that you provide it could be anything! 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |
