86 sr5 newbie HELP!
GZE can be from the first model MR2 (145hp? weakest version)
Otherwise, it can also come from ae92/ae101 Levin/Trueno (stronger version, about 160hp?). The MR2 engine is not as strong as you would expect a supecharged engine to be, but GZE's should be powerfull enough to have loads of fun with. A turbo will not respond as good as a supercharger (non-linear powerband). FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

86 sr5 newbie HELP!
There are several ways to make more power out of the GZE. Turboing it is only one of the ways and is more difficult than upgrading the supercharger. Another way is to change the pulley or upgrade the intercooler.
IMO the GZE better to start with because of the broader powerband, if you only care about a narrow (huge) powerband I would go for the turbo. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
