Nmwisima, i think 18.000 euro for a hachi nowadays, is a little too cheap.
By then, it was the top of the Corolla line. So, also the most expensive one. I don't think you can buy a decent FWD Corolla for 18.000 euro nowadays "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

S2000 is a true weapon. It won't forgive the unwary driver. It's easily the most beautiful 2 seater out there but the Mk2.5 1.8lt Miata is the funnest car to drive by far. It's progressive, forgiving, has more than enough power to have fun. The looks are but that can be fixed (the picture posted by Apolan here says it all).

gt99 Wrote:http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/scion_fuse.asp i think this is a wee bit too modern lets face it, there is not one car that would represent what hachi did in the 80's (and other similar cars). |

Hehe! Also note the Windows-like OFF button on the right side of the steering wheel. Imagine you're driving violently on some touge and you accidently nudge that buttom whil countersteering, and the car goes off, brakes fade, engine dies and you are doing 100+ on a twissty road.. unless a menu pops up and asks you if you really want to turn the car off.

Apolan,
Good thing they left out the start button to get to the programs menu, during driving everytime you want to select something from the menu your starter will go CRRRRRRRRCHKCLING. I do want my rightclick option and I wonder if I'm going to get a fine for hands free driving when I use the mouse... Cars should be cars damnit! nmwisima Wrote:The Kabura is a 3 seater concept.Imo one of the plusses of the hachi is that you actually have four "usable" seats. Not that it is really that comfortable, but atleast you can sit there. Nothing like a 2+2 or a 2 seater which always have atleast one seat too little. And ofcourse the hatchback is even better than the coupe: you have space to actually move stuff around, like a giant bucket of tofu for instance. So it is a good compromise between a sporty two-seater and a normal four/five seater. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
