I probably go with an AEM, looks good to me and can also handle future upgrades.

I would rather want to keep the original dash but can't say how that would work. Thinking about the loom makes me feel kind of funny.

You're a braver man than I making your own loom if you go that route. Fair play. But then again I guess it's each to their own, when I see it I'll take you some whizzy pictures of it, because at least I know how to do that!

Well, a bit more work on the car before it heads to the fab shop for the serious work to begin.

Engine & box missing?

Rear Bumper
Side Skirts

then strip out the engine loom and tidy the engine bay

Well, a little more progress before the car dissapears off to the fabricators.


Front bumper removed, rear bumper removed, aircon removed, sideskirts removed, and the remainder of the interior trim & roof lining removed

Made a start on the dashboard but didnt get very far

Car is going to the Fabricators on Monday on the truck so the guys are down there are going to finish the strip down for me

Well the project is well & truly under way now;

The car has arrived at the fabricators and fabrication has commenced.

Finally some progress.....

Front end all stripped out.


Windscreen removed but unfortunately it got broken


Dashboard, steering column, heater box, pedal assembly and all the front end items removed from the cabin....



Time to prepare the front end for strengthening, seam sealer removed & the area is prepped ready for the stitch welding
