aico, I've only seen 800 euro's Kaaz's in the USA, shipping will kill you.
I've heard I can get a TRD 2way for that price and pick it up in germany Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Price is below 700 Euro's so with shipping it will be below 800.

Heb ff in Japan voor je gekeken. Kaaz unit is 600 EUro. Shipping is 50 via de zee en 100 via de lucht.
So this means you can get the unit for 700 ex tax. But with just a LSD you can probably evade the taxes. Broken down 1984 Trueno HB |

With taxes it's around 850. I would rather have a Kaaz than a TRD.

well, im trying to get users impression on their LSD so that i can compare with what i read about them. By what has been said i believe that any of your LSDs has given u trouble (besides the OEM rebuild off course) so i think im going for the KAAZ for 750€. Thanks for your posts, more opinions are welcome

Hey Joa,
Well the problem is offcourse that here in europa people haven't got that much experience with 2ways yet, couple of guys in the UK have em on their car and some of the rally people who unfortunately are not on this forum yet, but the rest of all are still running old stock LSDs.... Should change in the comming time though We are starting to catch up on the USA Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Just too keep the discussion going (not trying to start flamewar!):
Why would you need a two way LSD? Which driving situation that you currently encounter do you think will benefit from the 2way lockup? Wouldn't the money be better spent elsewhere, like better drift suspension etc? When I was looking at my options for a new diff, I automatically started thinking of TRD KAAZ etc. To be honest I have no clue why that happened other than that I knew all the cool guys from club4AG were running them. A fully rebuilt stock LSD is 45% and costs just 250E in rebuilding costs, that leaves 500E for other toys. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Stock LSD wears out a lot faster since it has less clutch disks. It also has only 2 pinions instead of 4 so the lockup is less precise. And stock is just a 1-way. For drifting a 2 way would be best since it works when you let of the gas.
If you're keeping your car for a long time and want a good LSD, then an aftermarket piece is just worth the investment. Broken down 1984 Trueno HB |

Any suggestions on which rebuild set is the best to use and from where we can find it?
