AE86 Rear Brake Upgrade - Caliper & Discs?
Hi Seb,
You might consider opening a new thread for this, that should provide a better focus on what you are doing. i'm sure many members are interested. Also, you could consider contacting one of our members regarding the production of brake supports/adapter plates. Just search for "Aussiefan". He was already able to offer the FC adapter plates for a very reasonable price, and I believe that people were happy with the service and quality. The original disc are 234 mm mini disc are 276 mm.So is greater.
I do some test, and the compromise is really interesting. The master cylinder am quite. The braking is effective and enduring. A very good progressive mix. A super feeling! Toyota Team Europe Forum my old 86: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae-86-fro...ght=#46541 |

AE86 Rear Brake Upgrade - Caliper & Discs?
Hello Everyone!
The VW Golf IV calipers must be from the front or from the rear axle? I also would like to know which engine version is ok? There were a wide range from the 1.4 to the R32.. Any info and help is welcome. Thank you in advance. TeZe jamiemirror Wrote:Already discussed, VW calipers + Nissan discs= 257mm rear (almost bolt-on) upgrade for cheap ! |

Yes. There is no R32 in scrapyards, any other rear caliper will work. |
