chassis repairs and seamwelding is in progress
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also completely sandbalsted the rear axle and diff housing ![]() then painted the diff housing in black ![]() did some costumizations on the reat caliper brackets, removed the disc cover plate and welded the brake line mounts to it ![]() ![]() some parts arrived from toyota for the reassembling... ![]() |

here is the rear axle housing with finshed strengthtening and with our new, lighter, second type weld-on traction brackets. also drilled some holes to lose some unnecessary unsprung weight
![]() masked and is now ready to finish the sandblasting and powdercoating ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() filled the huge hole on the floor from my previous post ![]() ![]() |

after powdercoating the the axle housing i brought it to get a proper wash by steam. then started reassembling

NICE!! i did all this powderstuuf on my TE71,and after 5/6 years it is still good
