AE86 Trueno Racecar

This is my new project, a California Spec Corolla SR5, that will become (I hope) a full Jap Spec Trueno, only Left hand drive

I did not took pics on the day I pick it up, but it was something like this:


Day 1 and 2:








Overhaulin style, less then 48h and working alone its almost in the core.

This is a project to take very slowly, beacuse of the money involved and because I want it to be perfect, since there are almost none other Trueno in my country (haven't found out another yet). The car is intended to be a racecar only, not to be street legal.

The car is originally from California but someone made me the huge favor of importing if before, so saved me the work.

Yes, the car is in Portugal and as far as I know is the only Trueno in here.

Jonny, I'm sure it isn't the only trueno... might be the only 3 door trueno, because I've seen a 2 door trueno before.

Anyway... nice car, and I hope you can make it even better!
