AE86 at the dragstrip
on Sunday the 16/7-05 i attended a dragrace for streetcars.
810 runs were made in total & well over 10 000 people were there to watch - My friend Robert also TWICE - made 9,92 runs with his Cyclone he is also the worls record holder for Cy/Ty´s Your car would need to be registered for road use & also completly insured & legal. My time slips were... 16.08 15,89 15,88 15,84 15,82 - 148 km/h Two years ago i tested the dragstrip - & then with a totally stock AE86 with 15" wheels fitted with Kumho Ecsta v700 street tires 195/45-15 the car did 17,1 - 139 km/h /... ..... This is super kris.
My s13 does 15,04 with stock turbine and boost (170hp/1200kg). Cool. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |
