AE86 from Scotland
Formula Mesh is classic, too, but I think the MK I looked better! They have better offset?
What specs do they have anyway? wide? Immaculate car, judging by the pictures 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |

AE86 from Scotland
Keeping the MK I's in storage, Only issue I had with them was the amount they weighed and the fact they allowed no air flow to the breaks

AE86 from Scotland
Aha, I'm very familiar with this car. Jo (who you bought it from) is a friend of mine and I had a chance to go out and test drive this car. I even advised him on a few things that needed attention. I was quite surprised when he told me it had gone to Scotland.
The car still looks great and from recollection drives brilliantly too. You have yourself a fine example. |

Yeah there was a few bits that need sorted right away but nothing major and things I was planning on replacing right away, Battery, Starter motor, a new exhaust and the carbs being tuned. The parts were just parts I felt safer to renew due to the age of the car. Jo was a top guy, He had the car up on ramps to show us how clean it was underneath and got us cheap taxi's to his garage. Was the first AE86 I saw but with such a clean shell it has alot of potential Dropped it off today to get it converted back to fuel injection from the carb's as most of the good drift days happen an hour an a halfs drive away, I use a full tank of fuel going to and getting back from that event alone so the fuel consumption is just not practical |
