Cavey what will you use the car for? I like the project but if you ditch the interior let me know. I still look for some parts.

Car will be used as weekend driver, and for fun. In the future once I have enough money scrounged together new shocks will be applied (coil-over is the ultimate goal, still debating a bit whether to do short stroke conversion by hand, or save up for say a Greddy Type-S kit).
Other than that, just keep it kinda stock Some enginebaypron is arriving soon, from the T3 order thread a short shiftkit'n'bushings are coming to replace the old worn bushings and just interior bling with the shifter So not planning on ditching parts of the interior just yet, sorry. |

Thanks
Yeah, the Apexi comes with tubing and vacuumline connectors. Complete kit for the AE86 Now I just need to get some filters (jo banpei, hurry up with answering my mail ) and I can do a small engine oil change, fitting new plugs, airfilter and wires. I probably need to do some dreft work first to clean the engine a bit... mwuuuh. |

fsck,
my engine started to run a bit limpy, making some coughing/wheezing noise instead of the usual normal hum. Oil pressure started fluctuating. Anyone got some ideas/theories what might be wrong? It sounded like a leaky extractor/exhaust header, but I didn't notice any extra fume smells inside. The fluctuating oil pressure has got me worried. What could cause this? I'll probably make a video this evening under the hood with running engine for the sound of how horrible it sounds now |

haven't heard clunking sounds yet but will get back this evening with some movie/sound hopefully (I wonder how well my N6110 will perform with making a vid)
It kinda sounds like the engine in this vid when it's idling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJSBSu4_s...re=related But I'll make a vid this evening |

here's the vid:
It sounds rough, but putting my ear close to the engine it seems the 4AGE itself is still ok. So probably I just have a broken exhaust. What do you guys think? |

exhaust prolly within the second piece. (header than downpipe) the downpipe is prolly busted. engine is fine.
