reguarding the 256k miles, the odometer actually doesn't work anymore and probably has more like 300K.

Man what a great car!
Congrats on the find! 300k miles, just proves how relyable toyota engines can be  Its still alot for that engine though... Has it ever had any serious service done to it?

Ah good fresh rebuild

Nice car. I love that stock radio as well it looks so cool with all those sliding controls! Are those easy to find in California?

not incredibly easy, but if you know how to look. I've seen 2 in the last 3 months in that condition for that price.
