Another new guy dropping in. NC, USA
Hi everyone, I'm Sam
New to AEs in general but have had a sweet spot for them. 4 cylinder 5speed rear drive cars are what its all about, actually any rear drive is what I like, hah. I found one recently and am in the process of doing a deal, maybe. Its an 87 SR5 w/4AC and smaller rear end. What caught my eye was it is all original, well, accept for exhaust, wheels/tires and it has cut springs. I'll sort out some new springs, not too fond on cutting springs. Future plans are for a a car that can handle the twisties as well as throw the ass end around every know and then. Otherwise, I'm looking for a reliable DDer. Well, anyway, enough blabbing. Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I'll be seeing some of you around. Later |

Well, unfortunately this deal is not going to happen
I found another one, has a 7M swap no rear brakes broken strut and needs works. Plus, not sure if it will pass inspection being a swapped car. Back to square one. |

Yeeeeeaaaaah bitches, woohooooo.
After some looong searching, I finally found one that actually runs and drives, hah. Its complete less interior. And a 3tc to boot. The drive sucked towing it, got blown around into different lanes, pretty freaky to be honest. Trucks were pushing me into the breakdown lane. I'm excited to say the least. Here it is. Plans 8 point wheels/tires and do something with the suspension. I'm going to make some strut bars and some link bars and some various stiffeners inside while its stripped. Some I saw ina build thread here actually. Thanks for looking |
