uuh is this just porn without sex?
looks awsome regarding the bearing; do you have the sizes? there are lots off industrial shops who sell bearings. try one off those? Gtsi-R "Trust me, I was an engineer" "straight lines are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers" |

Thanks Zenki.
@KD2229, I will be looking into the radiator soon, when I find something I will be sure to let you know. @Bozu, When will you get back, and will you build it in Holland or Aus? @Fii, Itb's would be lovely indeed, but a bit out of reach atm. @Gtsi-R, Thanks for the kind words. I already found a bearing, not cheap but it was here fast. Picked up my rear axle yesterday, will take pics later today. Greets, |

what rear axle setup are you going to use?
I might jump the Beams bandwagon too and hence even more interested in your build. AE86 ex-daily |

For now I use the stronger standard axle with the thicker splines.
Maybe later I will go for a Celica or Hyundai van item. I am not going to use it for 100% and if you don't do clutch dumps it will be strong enough. But I do think it is important to have it set up right, good shimming etc. |

I'll be back in Holland on the 20th this month but my car isn't coming untill the end of november. It's now here in a container waiting to be loaded on the ship that's going to take it to Holland.
I don't know when and where I'm going to do the build so I'll stick with my 4agte for now and save money and do the research for the beams turbo conversion that I want to. |

Aram Wrote:For now I use the stronger standard axle with the thicker splines. sounds good - an alternative I thought about is the weir axle kit but it's not a cheap option as you'd need to get the diff from them as well... I know most people are going for an aftermarket ECU but I wondered if you found any info one someone who tried to keep the OEM stuff, I haven't found anything so far... AE86 ex-daily |

Pics of the rear axle, going under the car this week I hope.
New wheel bearings, new solid pinion spacer, mechanical seal, gaskets and paint of course. |
