How can some members have avatar's bigger than 80 x 80 pixels?

kas you have to upload the image on the net somewhere, and than in the settings, instead of picking the image from your computer, you just select and type the URL to that pic. in that case it may be more than 80x80 pixles. but not much larger or the admins will have more kicks to serve than a drowning donkey.

LOL.. Yes it is possible to use larger avatars, but technically it's against the forum rules. Now us dutch people always employ our traditional "gedoogbeleid", which translates into tolerance policy, so we usually dont enforce the rule down to the pixel as long as your avatar is not disrupting the look of the forum. I would still want to ask you guys to keep your avatars around the specified size, to keep the forum clean and easy to read.

I normally don't complain about it unless it exceeds 150 pixels. 130 is a bit dubious apolan, but I don't really make a fuss about it unless it makes it unreadable

You can upload bigger images now: I've set the maximum to 100 pixels.
