Hey, that is one seriously quick '86, just one quick question.

Is the car running the original rear axle, diff and drive shafts ?.

I hope to aim for similar power eventually with my car and was wondering how reliable these parts would be with approx 300hp running through them.

Thanks Thumbs up!

Hard to see how the rear axle will last. But i'm sure time will tell Smile

Would love to do this swap. 220hp stock, twin entry ceramic turbo so almost no lag at all when compared with the SR*spits*20. And easily tunable to 270hp for the Gen1 and 2 GTEs and 300 for the Gen3+. Respect! And at least you can call your car a thoroughbred Toyota at the end Big Grin

I have a Gen 2 GTE in the shed. It's totally disassembled though. Cracked ringlands on no 3 piston, supposed that's what happens when you run 1.2bar round Donington for 5 hours lol. Smile

Just looking back there, why did you cut the loom when swapping the engine into the MR2? You do know the turbo engine loom plugs right in at the passenger footwell? Big Grin
