Banpei's new TA60 family cruiser
Bought the rims from the Doc, but due to my GF having her last week of pregnancy (I hope Big Grin ) I haven't got the time to pick them up from Mux or even mount them under the car... This is so stressing and at the same time relaxing while spending all the time on my GF and belly, waiting for the moment. Tongue

Anyway, what I wanted to share was that I'm not rid of those stupid "stick-a-note-under-the-windshieldwiper" of people wanting to buy the car. Got one sticking under the wiper last friday. Tongue

Art, is Emoke home now?

I might be tempted to drop the rimms off tomorow, I have the day off so.. gimme a call during the day (not between 11 and 12, then we have an appointment already).

Jan van Egmond has a good reputation in Dinitrol treatments. His website says he's retired but his company is still alive: http://www.anti-rust.com

If the car has any hidden rust he will find it before starting the treatment.

Thanks! Smile
I think I'll contact him to ask what the options and costs are. Wink
However I don't think it will be done in the next few weeks. Tongue

It says on the website he has quite a long waiting list so you might want to try and get on that list if you have the time :-)

Hi there.

I have two suggestions on how to improve economy with your carina.

Fit one of these, or if you cant find one of those, fit one of these.

note: By 'economy' I mean 'awesomeness'. Big Grin

Nice carina by the way, looks mint! I wish mine was that tidy when I started on it, haha. There isnt really all that much info around on carinas, or people who like to own/modify them.... But yeah, twin headlight setup is the way to go! Bear in mind that you need the twin headlight front gaurds and grill too. I'm fairly sure that I've got every different flavour of front grille for the 'single headlight' carina, I'd give you the one you want for free but it seems that you're on the other side of the world. haha.

Oooooh, if I only had all of the $$$ in the world... Those pics are awesome! Thumbs up! Respect!
I assume you have the louvre-grille and this grille?

Or are there any other grilles for the single headlight carina? Huh

Are those carinas yours btw? Dumb question

I'll take some pictures for you of my hoard of front grilles haha. I think I've got 3 different kinds for your shape headlights. But I'm gonna be running the twin square headlight front.(of which the facelift and non facelift ones are different!) I used to have a twin round headlight setup from a carina wagon, but ended up biffing them as they were fairly munted... They're pretty rare though!

And yeah, one of those carinas is mine, I've got a poverty spec AA60 coupe with the beams engine going in, the other is a 4 door TA63 that's getting a 1UZ.

Sweet! Thumbs up!
I think mine is probably the same as the "st" version you got there. Wink
Never seen the round headlights except in the JDM toyota EPC. They look great, however the twin square headlights look even better! Tongue
