Might be the case of just adding a little variable resistor...

if you know how it works (pulses from the speedometer??) you can try to fit a condenser in the wire, so it dings a few km/h later Smile

I need to dig up my old school books to see which condenser u need (or let somebody else do that Tongue)

AFAIK the speedometer of the car would handle the pulses correctly. I found in the wiring diagram that German and Swiss spec cars ding on 120km/h so there must be something giving the right pulse or something... Confused
I couldn't find the connector last night, but as it was dark I couldn't see much at all. So perhaps in the weekend. Wink

Neither of them. Someone called Lepelaar did it.

Just read trough the entire thread - Your hachi is looking better and better by the minute! Thumbs up! good job

Where might I aquire this dinging device? I really need one of these because it would be perfect for the speed range of my local touge Wink (tight course, but it's possible to get close / above 100km/h on the downhill)

hm, now that I think of it again, it might be dangerous getting one. But i still need it dammit! Tongue

by the way - Swiss hachis do not make the ding noise. I should know because i have one Wink It's possible that the pulses are being sent out, but there is no 'speaker' connected..

I believe someone was selling a couple of the dinging devices some time ago, but I can't find the topic... Undecided

Anyway, found out today my sunroof is really leaking now (too much rust). Sad
Positive thing is that I probably already found a new one. Smile

And another great thing is that Robokills hachi had two seatbelts inside! Big thanks in advance! I'll pick them up somewhere at the end of the week! Thumbs up!
