Ivan, I want them already
Although I first want to know how stong banpei's rear springs are. I want some 5kg ones. My apex springs would be ideal for banpei I think. I know my wife didn't complain when I had those on, now she does Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Nopez, alot of talk with him, but still no strength figure
Maybe we should just give it a try. Need to get hold of some spring compressors for the front springs.. btw, I had a nice surprise for the APK. Remember that on the front my coils would come loose when I lowered the car to the correct height? Turns out I only needed to put the car a few millimeters higher to get rid of the play. Very strange. I remember there being more play. I think when I mount the RCAs the problem will go away forever. I'm still looking for bolts though... Yesterday I went to TE71Corolla. He wanted my steel brake lines (where oh where would he want to mount them on) and since I don't really have any use for them I agreed to swap them and he would replace my links with the originals (mine were tailormade and had nylon bushings in them).
When we put it up the bridge it turned out that the noises I heard twice probably were the noises of two links breaking. I felt the brakes were really different: softer than before, but still feels hard enough. Links are now replaced with originals and the car feels completely different. I tried it while driving home and I don't think I'll swap the springs now. It feels quite solid with enough play for bumps. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
