Bastian's Hachi-Roku Project

I bought my hachi-roku in august 2005. I drove it for about 2 WONDERFULL weeks before the numberplates had to go. It was due to MOT, and there was no chance. Ive started taking the AE86 apart, but due to time and mostly funding, the project has been standing still for almost a year!

Last week I was at Danish AE86 meet and that really gave me the energy to start up the project again. Even though I still have low cash-flow to the project, im gonna start preparing as much as I can.

The car is almost taking apart… All that’s left is what’s under the car + the steering wheel. Anything else is out; therefore I can easily start scraping the bottom clean.

Project Plans

No more rust
- Shell
- New doors
- Front fenders
- Rear fenders
- Hatch
Exhaust system
Colour change (Still considering, but I think super white or champagne – both options with black front and rear bumper)
Bodykit
- Kouki front bumper (New model)
- Original sideskirts or the wide-version
- Rear with diffusers as now
- TRD Ducktail
New wheels
Redlines taillights (Gives the car much more Jap look imo)
New Suspension – Adjustable wanted!!
New engine

Back of the car looks a bit crusty... However, from the pics it doesn't look that bad and looks like it is fixable.

I bought a few new parts...

Kouki front bumper with lip


Stock rear bumper for modding purpouse (Lip)


Right door * NO RUST *


Left door * NO RUST , but need a small piece of metal *


Beside that i bought a new dash and wire-net.. Sorry the bad translation, dont know what its called..
