Beau's Trueno..
Ok so called me a gaylord but after reading Autosalon mag for once i have taken one thing away from the mag that i agree with, so im going to use my members ride to do so..

What am i talking about? Well im going to state my plan for the FOX here.

Plan:
Basically im building/modding this car to have a daily driven car that houses full interior and isnt some crazy undriveable thing that i can still clock some silly times at the track and touge. im aiming to clock a 1:16 on street tyres at Wakey. Might be a lil crazy BUT its my goal and i can aim for what i like hehe.

So firstly im focusing on my brakes, tyres and suspension areas. i will be trying to make alot of the suspension parts myself.

Secondly i will be focusing a lil on the exterior, basically im just going to be respraying the car, Orange again but a different orange.. infact the same orange that my Dads 57 use to be (refer to picture) i'll be adding 25mm Fiberglass guards and some bolt on black rear guards. Kouki bar and lip and OEM side skirts. And wheels will be some SSR's and a Carbon bonnet. Id like to get my hands on a FRP hatch but i dunno yet.

Thirdly i will be concentrating on the engine of course. Now saying that i may do some mild things to the current engine in the mean time, like removal of AC and whatevere else, and adding some quads and good quailty tuned headers.

But what i plan to do is build a some what serious NA engine. Such as a small port or a 7age.

Now i know this kinda seems a lil to much and contridicting to my intent but thats how i want to do it and its just some of my influeces i enjoy, and im basically trying to build how "I" (key word there) think the ultimate 86 should be built, to a extent.

Beau's Trueno..
Well been a lil time since a update..

Been pretty busy working on other peoples 86s down at the factory and really there is nothing wrong with spending your nights and weekends building, repairing and working on others 86s so they can enjoy them more , among a few other big things.. Big Grin

So first thing that happened this week was the adding of my old Bride Zeta seat that was in Matts coupe.. feels good to be in the holding monster again.. Still need to set up my cockpit controls as my steering wheel is to far away yet my legs are cramped...

Then Tuesday Night Adam (Xero), Matty, Garth and I pulled out the AC among discussing HR related topics...

FACTORY 86

Then Thursday came and i proposed to my girlfriend of 2 years like all stylish Gentlemen do..i did it in the a 86!
... She said yes after a waterfall of tears and crying, though she didnt believe me until i produced the ring.. haha..

Then After a boozey Thursday and Friday celebrating a lil, i did this...

I sanded them back so they could be painted, with the correct paint product.

I also scored some oem styled side skirts that will be painted and fitted tomorrow.. cant wait!

And i started the prep and paint work of my new rocker covers..

Starting..

In High fill...

Hoping to finish them off tomorrow. I think you will all like the color scheme im going with!

Next on the list this week is..

- New tyres and rims all round!
- New gear box and clutch
- T3 boss extension.
- Oil Catch can

Then hit the track cause thats what you do in a sprinter.

Then after that i will be saving to upgrade my suspension with...

- Greddy suspension set up (all the cool kids are doing it)
- Trd or like sway bars.
- Cusco or like castor rods
- Some sort of Rose jointed tie rods
- XT130 LCAS
- Factory 86 panhard rod prototype
- Factory 86 traction brackets prototype
- Factory 86 Adjustable four link Prototype

Im also looking at doing sooner rather then later,

- Crazy NA engine being built. And might be spec the same as a formula atlantic engine.. just gotta do some studying first! hehe

Well thats enough from me.. hehe
