Boost Gauge help with Pictures

Hello everybody,

I take up what people say to me so without further adeu I have ordered (second hand) oil temp and boost gauges.

Now about my 4agze... I cant find any info regarding on how to install a boost gauge.

Can somebody please tell me - including pics if you have them - and tell me in baby language step by step how to install this... PLEASE.

I know about the oil temp.
I have a oil adapter and will buy a sensor so I can hook up the gauge.

Additional question : How do you guys think cooling oil thru a oil adapter will go? I mean it cant be better than going from the filter nipple (on 4age) to carterpan (oil sump pan) right?
I could buy an adapter and then cool the oil thru the oil filter but dont know if thats a smart thing to do.

And sinds my 4age is gone this saturday I wont have a sump pan to steal or a 4age nipple to steal - for the oil cooler setup how its supposed to be.

For the boost, just get an vacuum line (maybe that of map sensor) and tap there your boost gauge sensor.

For the oil cooling, i think the best is to use a sandwich plate.

For the oil cooling use a sandwhich plate between the oil filter and it's mounting point. Also it would be a good idea to put a thermostat in the lines going from the sandwich plate to the oil cooler. This way the oil first get's to operating temp before the thermostat opens and allows oil to pass through the cooler. Thanks yall... I allready have the sandwich plate and all I need to find now is a oil temp. sensor for tomorrow so I can let somebody and try to install it.

I first need to see if I dont need a cooler... afterwards I will probably buy some stuff to cool it IF I really need to.

I have 2 meters - 1 boost meter and 1 oil temp meter
but I need the boost hoses and the oil temp SENSOR.
it wasnt included. (2nd hand buy).

I have the oil temp installed and it seems to work just fine.
So I can try drifting at least.
Tho it doesnt see my oil temp from the SC I suppose...

All I need to do know is get a boost hose and try to figure out how I can put that on!

For the record: A little bit of searching is not too much to ask before posting questions. This is all very basic stuff.

Boost gauge: easiest way to install it would be to buy a length of vacuum hose and a t-piece that will fit, then put that t-piece in between one of the vacuum lines going to the throttle body.

Thanks Ivan - I am just not good with text that is why I always ask for people if they can help me out with pictures.

I am not lazy but if I do stuff I wanna know for sure that I am doing a good job at it.

I mostly cant do stuff because of my illness but I still try whatever whenever I can.

Its all just difficult for me...

Soon I will get some hoses etc. and then check everything out.
