Carbon panels
Hey guys
Just wondering who has use carbon fiber doors and fiber glass hatch on their AE86. Is it good for street daily driving? I am planning on getting the J-blood doors and CBY tail gate, and perhaps the Jblood front fenders as well. Anyone got any suggestions? |

Carbon fiber doors are a no-no for a daily drive, unless you have a roll cage installed. This is because carbon fiber is a very brittle material, and in case of a side impact it will just break instead of bending, and you can imagine this is kinda dangerous.

also when you have built suspension the carbon fiber will not hold up to constant shaking from you car. I learned the hard way when my door cracked off on me.
