The loss is huge... and i really don't know where i'm losing power.... Still i was very happy with the results. |

Well i was generating log files in the tunerstudio and was turning on the autotune (to control de VE tables).
Then my job was to analyse the log files, and try to figure out when the car missed his ignition (also you can see when pressing the pedal and identify live where the ignition failed, and change the values). Did this process on a track day i had..... Then i would create a new table, and burn it to the megasquirt and would go for a ride... |

If it's not seized rear brakes or wheel bearings look closely at the differential and crown wheel and pinion. An analogue brain in a digital World |

Brand new reconditioned rear brakes...
One bearing warned out, doing his noise... Already got a replacement... The pinion and crown are doing a bit of noise, but they are new! The problem is the differential inself.... Must get a LSD! |

Two things, ignition that doesn't miss is still a long way away from having the iginition dialled in to Mean Best Torque or just before detonation (whichever comes sooner). Lotsa power to be found for you on a dyno still I think. Unless you have some sort of special powers
Was the dyno you ran on a Mahle by any chance? Those usually come up with losses in the 40% region. Crank HP is pretty spot on though. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Yeah i know!
Dyno day is comming! I still need to learn how to tune the MS using the dyno...... What values i need to check in order to gain power...... What a dyno on a mahle? The dyno was this one Thanks |

Mahle is a manufacturer of Dyno's that have notoriously high driveline loss estimates.

Now i see what you said before.... Still where can i found the ideal ignition timings across table?
I can do two things. Dyno my car WOT or braked. I find it way dificult is to configure the mid values on the table. The 50% TPS values for example...... The WOT values are way more easier to config. Tell me, how can i proceed in order to tune my MS and my ignition timings the best way? What do i need to look for and where? Tahnks |

Best is to buy a book on tuning. That will give you the best basis.
In general you fix each rpm/load bin and add timing until either torque drops off or you get detonation. You are trying to find mean best torque (MBT). Doing that 144 times or more can be a lot of work, so you can also keep the engine at one rpm through the dyno and sweep through tps, add timing, repeat, remove timing, repeat. Keep track of which cells gain or lose torque. etc.. that's it in a nutshell. You need the torque output of the dyno to do this correctly.
