FINALLY!
All done removing the white substance and pava underneath the car. Now It's time for some serious rust work. (as you might see) I've decided to do the rust repairs myself, getting a bit of help from a friend with a bit more experience. And after the rust repairs it's going to be sandblasted, so it's clean and nice. Yesterday I recieved a 2mm HKS headgasket, and ARP headstuds. And that is going to be the fun part, as Jan states. Going to work on the engine when the car is getting sanded down and painted. I've also almost completed the front strutcasings, I'll post a couple of pics in a few days. Hello world.
I've really been neglecting this project for a long time. But I have made some progress the last few weeks. I've sandblasted nearly all the small parts on the car, and epoxy primed them. I've also got some great news regarding the car. But I'll tell you peeps it, when I get the pictures. And here is the big update!
TADA!!! Hehe, the moment you've all been waiting for! Or atleast me! The car has had all the rust repaired, and is now at the sandblasters place. It's getting "cleaned" some time next week. Furthermore I have cleaned the transmission, and mounted my short shift kit from T3! Wow the first real assembly on the car for almost 2 years! Here is some pictures of the lot! Hey, did a little work today.
I would like your opinions on the look of my front bumper, when I move the lip about 3 inches down and a bit out. Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think. I've also been doing a little modifications to my turboheader. Removed the outlet for the external wastegate, and smoothed it up a bit, so the gas will flow nice and fast Regards Lars Veiss, Denmark Currently |

Hey Jan.
Yes "I'm Hallin' ass" (quote Rowan Atkinson in Rat Race) Hmmm, don't quite know what a rotisserie is. But my guess is the chassisstand. And that we build ourselves. I have a friend who is a blacksmith, and we spend an afternoon building it, not the best build, but hey it does the job. Let me know if you want to get rid of it at some point... I've got to build a cheaper banger for trackdays so I kind of need a stand
