DK AE86 renovation and turbo project - Now driveable
Hi guys,
It's been a while sincemy last update, but sadly i haven't had any time for my precius. Currently I'm waiting for a set of new fender flares for the rear. Then the car is of to a professional for rust repairs, sadly I haven't got the time to do it myself, and this way I know it's going to last and look pretty for a long time. I just recently recieved my set of rear TRD springs + a whole bunch of other TRD goddies. I'll post a couple of pics one of these days. Hey guys!
It's almost been two years since I took my hachi apart. And the progress has been realy slow... But now I'm happy to announce that the project has come back to life! I've been working my a.. off and I hope to have the car on the road in a month or two! I've got a pic of my sad sad neglected hachi... I'm going to have the body sandblasted and the I'm going to hire a professional to do the rust repairwork. Here's a pic of my work on my coilover kit. The only thing i need now is get the parts welded together again. And lastly, a testmounting of my new rear bumper extentions (thx knudsen) Regards Lars Veiss, Denmark Currently |

Thanx Karsten. And that is my new Prothane bushings kit.
I found a couple of pics of my black interior - just pulled it out of the garage and gave it a wash and a vacume. But they still need a bit of work before they are mint - as I like it. Before: After: I've also started removing the undercoating - but there is still a looong way to go. Here's a little update, I've been realy busy with the girl.
A couple of weeks ago, we made a frame for her, and now I'm almost done removing the undercoat from the car. Here's a couple of pics of the progress and frame. And YEAH, just repaired rust in the car. The first in a REALY long time.
