Yes. There's a huge difference switching from the work laptop to the mac at home. Might be a crappy screen on the laptop but I had a hard time seeing the difference between the white background and the post frames.

I can see the post frames are a blue/grey with a level of shade and shadow.
The background itself is Spartan white, it will alter the contrast of the frames if it was a darker grey

Yes better now only thing what bothers me now is the white background. Is there a way to stretch the forum to your screen resolution?

I would remove gradient background from row 1 and row 2, very distracting, looks bloat with gradients.

Hey I just noticed that this new theme is the only one that has a working Reply To-button. The old (blue) theme has no such button anymore and the others are broken in such a way that they don't quote the post I'm replying (quoting) to, but instead just make a new reply to the thread.

This new theme looks good too but I still use the old blue theme as it's a bit less tiring on my eyes...

Made a few adjustments: removed the background gradient of the postings, and made it consistent with some other elements. The theme looks a bit flat now.
I've also changed the backrgound to a dark-grey color now. It really differs per screen how this is perceived: on a standard monitor it looks very dark, but on my mac it looks very nice.

@kjb: I've also fixed the old template. The problem is that I had to install some plugin to do additional logic in this new theme, and that changed some of the conditionals in whether you are allowed to post or not.

I never really noticed the old gradients to have an opinion unfortunately!
