Dexron III
I cant seem to find the oil discussion thread so, I thought i'd post a new topic.
I have been having a conversation with a good friend of mine today who is planning on changing his transmission oil to Dexron III. Has anyone tried this before? or know of anyone who would say if its recommended? I'm thinking of it myself if the effects are good. |

IMHO less wear protection. But ZaX reported no problems at all.

Dont look at the name on the bottle nor the designation. Look and compare the industrial specification codes of the oils..AT fluid is often just ordinary oil that still falls within manufacturers specifications but is towards the more viscose part of the scale.
