Diferential Question
you can use any type of lsd (2way/1.5 way/etc.)
but, it must be correspondent to the year of your car. the zenki and kouki have different halfshafts, therefore different lsds. kaaz and cusco are both great brands. which one to go with is your choice. read up on some of their reviews to get a better idea. |

Diferential Question
All european versions were delivered both kouki and zenki. The taillights for the European cars remained the same (zenki) throughout the production but all other parts followed the Japanese line.

Diferential Question
Chacaman, I think you are saying you have a 6.38 inch drum brake rear (S series diff)? If so, it is highly unlikely you will find an LSD for this. Tosco (TRD) did make them but a very long time ago and virtually unobtainable now.
You will first need to upgrade to a T series rear end with the 6.7inch centre. LSD's for these are readily available. |

Diferential Question
boo50 Wrote:does european versions also have kouki and zenki ? Are you sure ? Check your trim, is it T282 or T283, on the firewall in engine area ? Thought the same, but when i figured out that T283 is code for "with LSD option" Corollas i looked better and found out fully worn OEM LSD (1.5way) which worked as open diff. Btw. maybe you don't need 2way cusco or trd. 1.5way is much cheaper but if rebuilded it can be as much as fun as 2way beasts . |

Diferential Question
If it says S314, it is an S series. This is the diff we got in Australia as standard in AE86's. T series diffs were not available as standard or optional fitment.
A 6.7 inch T series centre will not fit into a 6.38 inch S series transaxle Also the S axles are too small for the 6.7 inch centre. If it is an S series, zenki / kouki are irrelevant |
