ECU LTX-8s
Hi everyone!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Had a big problem with MicroTech ECU LTX-8s. Accidentally broken the map sensor (the small nozzle at the side of the ECU)..... Is there a way to do some recover job to it? Can i purchase the part and do a soldering work by myself? Pls advise! Thanks & regards |

Ehm...I'm not familiar with MicroTech ECU's (seems to be popular among the rotary crowd), but you could post up some pics so we can have a look at the damage.

You should be able to replace the sensor no problems..its just a map sensor nothing fancy..just open up the box en find out which sensor they use..A lot of the ECU fabricators use GM type map sensors, but those are usually used externally (quite big). Just read the serial number on the little box, type it into google and go the wreckingYard for an replacement..
There is a slight chance that microtech have made their own sensor and incorporated it into the board..cant imagine why as they are dirt cheap and plentyfull. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
