The only other way I can think of that you could use that much fuel, is
if there was a leak in the high pressure hose from the tank to the engine.
This would only squirt out while the fuel pump was running. So it might
be worth while looking underneath while the car is idling. See if there is
a split hose or cracked pipe.

I read that like 20 years ago in some "how to become a secret agent handbook" but guess it works still!

I changed the injectors today, and then went snow sliding a bit, it looks to me that my consumption became a bit better. I'll try changin' the cold start injector too tomorrow...

Well...some new simptoms...i noticed, that the cable fell off from the TPS sensor. I put it back, but the metal pin disappeared, so it comes off quite easily now...when i put the cable back, my idle was ok, the car felt fine. But on my way i assume, that it fell down again, my idle went mad, and the gas reaction became is sluggish. It's like when i step on the gas, the engine doesnt rev instatntly, but waits half a second and then go up. And the acceleration is a bit worse at low revs. Can my missing TPS signal cause that bad ass consumption? Huh

Yes....the TPS is pretty important. No idea how much it contributes to your cars consumption, but you should fix it asap.

Sorry for the stupid posts, but i think i may have found the problem Smile It's the thermostat. Engine runs cold, heating is crap...and this combined with my tricky TPS causes the gas to disappear Big Grin
