Hello, got one question. You got any idea about the original size of the piping in the AE86 exhaust?! In mm?!

On an OEM system, at one point after the resonator, but before the muffler... the piping goes down to 40mm, basically just before the pipe goes into the rear muffler

Thanks! What would be the "ideal" piping inner size on a sports exhaust piping?!

I wanna go OEM, but at the same time, i want something that does not constraint my engine!

OEM is claimed to be good to about 180hp.. go figure.
Best bet for you is to match exactly the diameter of the headers collector exit so that there are no steps anywhere in the exhaust after the collector.

Well there's a good point there!

Measuring the end of the headers and build the line using the same diameter. That's what i'm probably doing!

One more question here, not using the middle silencer makes the final muffler always loud?! Or it can be controled, using a good muffler?

Regards

Almost always yes.. If using flow-through silencers-> definitely.
