OK, if you can get a second one, control it!
My innovate indicated me AFR of 11, the AFR Meter on the dyno showed about 20 Huh And according to the exhaust gas meter it was my innovate that was wrong. It was new out of the box and freshly calibrated, but wrong Crying

Hello
I yesterday I checked the valves with a compression measurement kit and it seems to allright. all the spark plugs are nearly same color (brown) I change the spark plug and change the spark table to earlyer ignition over all.
To day I tried(again) to set the timing at 25 btdc an let engine running 3000 rpm while I checked with ignition lamp, and after 5 minutes the exhaust was glowing. I have thought about the restriction and therefore we removed the middle and backend exhaust.
maybe we should get another wide band kit, but then again on the spark plugs it dosnt seems to run lean?
the cam timing is checked again.
The Compression ratio could be too hight but Im sure Niels checked before he assembly the engine and there is no knocking noises.

I think the next is to check the manifold or maybee take the head of to gat an idea of what is going on

is the 25 btdc @ 3000 or idle?
can Niels shed some light on what has been done to the block (i.e. what pistons, deckheight, any shaving to head and or block etc...)
what were the results on the compression test?
also have you tried cooler plugs although I don't think this would make a big difference.

maybe you could post a Log file from MS so we get a better view of what is going on...

Block and pistons are stock redtop. The head is shaved about 0.1 mm and the head gasket is 0.7 mm thick.

Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Wink
