Glad someone is loving it lol.
Will hopefully seal up the sump tkmorow or Monday, and then get started on the wiring I'm waiting on a mates pressie so I can get started on mounting the engine.... it's gonna be the same as the rear cradle mounts, chopped down trailing arm bushes and fitted as a cotton real mount... Will make sense when I get it done and show some pics lol. Last little bit of fab recently while I piss about was redoing the alternator bracket. My first couple of attempts were pretty fragile and it was pointed out how bad the harmonics can be on a 3sge. I didn't have th money for one of sams good looking kits, so set about doing the next best thing. I machined the guts out of the stock fwd alt, and made a stub bracket for it. The welded it to a 15mm stainless plate. Twin pass with 312. Now just need a belt and probably beef up the top mount a bit lol Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk clutch kick, switch, tree .... oowwww |

Little jobs ticked off.
Needed to set a dip stick. I only had the fwd one and it goes through the side of the block. So I did some bending and shortening and viola.... But the realised I had put the dipstick right inline with the alt. Belt. More tweaking and it's all apples Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk clutch kick, switch, tree .... oowwww |

It's a very tight fit. Aren't you afraid it will touch the subframe and make resonating noise?

Lol, very afraid.
I was in a rush last night so didn't add any explanation. I'm gonna hard mount the entire section running through the cradle to the cradle The muffler will be suspended, and the front of the exhaust will be suspended and I have a 75mm flex joint for the system So at this stage im tossing up using a second flex joint to relieve any stress by caused by the hard mounting, or risking it with the single flex joint up front..... seems 50 50 on opinions as to the success I may or may not have lol Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk clutch kick, switch, tree .... oowwww |

Been busy trying to finish a side project for my wife. Being Christmas, birthday and anniversary all in a few days, tried to come up with something nice that didn't cost anything lol #povolife She has wanted a chess board for years. So today started very slow, but gained some much needed momentum by the end.
Got the whole tricky end of the exhaust tacked up and mounted. First mounts were very flimsy looking and I was advised by mates they were not gonna work. So both mounts have been beefed up, and just quietly I'm proper stoked at the welds, they were stunt welds hanging off the upside down car lol.
