T1R-s and T1-S's are famous for relying on a relatively soft tire compound for high grip, and a relatively soft sidewall to provide comfort. This has led to a sort of love/hate relationship between many people and this tire, depending on the kind of car you drive and the kind of driver you are.
I think that they should work really well under an AE86, as long as you are smooth en have decent tire pressures. For the money, no tire comes close. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
