Carburettors Mods
Hi !!

I just want to know if there is something special to do to convert a 4AG engine to carburettors?

I will do this because I don't want to have electronics device to have big power, so Is there something I need to know before doing this?

For the ignition could I use a MSD device? what kind of fuel pressure do I need? fuel Pump?

If someone could help me, Thanks Wink

You can use the MSD units. My car is just running a balaster? coil and using a mazda dissy to allow for advance/retard. I think that the 4k?? dissy work as well.

Fuel pressure you only need around 4-7psi. I'm going to try running the original efi fuel pump with a holly pressure regulator, I have been told it can do the biz. Will let you know how that goes.

You can just loop the original fuel system and feed the carbs of a Tee in the line. Ambient pressure in the line is more then enough. I would just run the stock ECU for spark..

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I've read somewhere that some are using 4k dizzy despite the 4ag one??

Is this possible without modifying??? Why??? the advance from the 4aG one won't be enought with MSD 6AL and BlasterII ???
