Floor mat options in a track car

Seems silly but... what options are out there that fit the AE86 chassis? I dont really want to hear my clutch pedal hit metal every time I shift gears.

Glue some rubber to the back of the pedal?

Not mats but Ive seen carbon fibre & checker plate versions.

Those are some nice parts there...

I was thinking a rubber stop might be the best solution, but I also like the idea of protecting the paint in a high wear zone around the feet.

I would have thought that a mat would be the last thing that you would want floating around under your feet , if it isn't screwed or bolted down forget it .
Keep your original molded carpet or make some thing out of aluminum plate .I wouldn't have thought the clutch pedal should be going all the way to the floor ?
