so i got a hachi today for 500 bux its an sr5 the motor is kind of jacked up so i was thinking about swaping in a v8 for fun but the gas prices are too expensive not to mention i don't know where to start. so i wanna know if anyone has swapped a v6 or v8 in a ae86, what would i need to do i wanna keep it carb (less work) lmk what i can do

I've seen pictures of 6s fitted within a hachi but its major work. Then again, those were inline 6 engines so they are longer.

Too bad the pictures are long gone.
But seriously: why would you want a v8 inside a hachi? It would ruin the balance of the car, not to mention cost a lot of effort to fit it right in: there is not much space under the bonnet to fit a 6 cylinder and a 8 cylinder would be even more difficult.
