Ammeter gauge
Can anyone please tell me the best place to wire an ammeter to.
The obvious answer is live and Earth but I remember reading that the MK2 Escort rally cars had theirs wired in after the take off 'shunt' so the gauge could read the current draw rather than the stored battery energy. Any thoughts on this ? An analogue brain in a digital World |

Ammeter gauge
Most ammeters I ran into dont have shunts, although I would prefer it. Here's how I wired mine. A is the meter S is the starter engine D is the alternator (dynamo) where it says verbruikers, that's where the bulk of the load should be. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
