It is hard to import stuff to South Africa?
Not hard, just really expensive to be honest and to import from Japan I need to use ems or dhl where if it's from a company i can just send my courier company to just collect for me

What does a complete rear diff go for about and where should I be looking? Tried Gumtree and eBay but only the lsd is available

I would go for something like, calling John Cloko directly from Ireland and getting a complete rear axle from him Smile

John will no ship anything. you need to go to him to collect.

UK wise for a rear complete disc axle ready to attach is around £800 -£1100. rear diff depending is around £300 and full "pigs head" ready to set in is about £600

I have drum set up on my JDM Trueno and work great, don't really see the need to change them over. work fine for standard power and even better for the ol' drift

Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, but did you change your setup? Will a ae86 "pigs head" fit on my diff?

Not sure if stupid question or not.

No I haven't changed the set up. It came with a TRD unit already fitted when I imported it.

Pigs head is essentially the diff, CWP and casing same as below pic. Other people call it different names but I know it as a pigs head as do most of UK

I'm not honestly sure if it will fit your diff or not. If it's the same diff that came on a 4A 86 then I would have thought so but honestly couldn't say
